Here?! is a transmedial project by Glass, unfolding as a collaborative album, an audiovisual film created with digital artist Leonardo Distefano / Alibi, and a graphic book.
The work follows the oneiric drift of a character moving between dream and wakefulness, warped fragments of nostalgic memory and everyday life while encountering weird and unsettling figures. The film and the book by Lorem & Distefano expand this journey from different perspectives, following the protagonist through Middle Eastern bazaars, sinking houses, deep waters and nocturnal clubs.
Musically, the album emerges as a slow ambient and noise drift, alternating between meditative and celestial moments and uncanny, unsettling crescendos. It is shaped by collaborations with Lorem (on tracks III and IV), Sébastien Forrester (on V and I Swear), and Zoë Mc Pherson (on I Swear).
At its core, Here?! is a 40-minute A/V experience built from processed instruments, microphone recordings, electromagnetic sounds, voices – immersing the listener and viewer in a perpetual, uncanny landscape that hovers between impossibility and familiarity.
